Located in central Stellenbosch the hotel was perfectly located for the cafes, shops etc. The manager, Themba, and staff were welcoming and attentive to everything we needed - from the beautiful breakfasts to arranging tours and drivers. The location is very convenient and there are many restaurants/bars/cafes around the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant (Helena’s restaurant) and it was fantastic. All staff are super friendly and professional. Their valet parking service is convenient. Breakfast was also amazing and we really enjoyed staying here.

Everything. Spier has to be one of the best Hotels we have been lucky enough to stay at. From the interior styling/ atmosphere and location to the customer service we couldn’t fault it. The food was exceptional; both breakfast and dinner. Complimentary mountain bikes to be able to truly appreciate the fantastic location, the vast array of contemporary art both in the main Manor House and dotted around the estate, wine tasting experience (all wines were exceptional) from the estate and of course the open fires in our rooms all added up to the most memorable stay. We were so lucky to stay here and so sad to say goodbye but we will definitely be back.

This hotel is really gem. Everything was absolutely amazing from the check-in to check-out. This hotel is like heaven. Amazing spa, superb pool area, excellent apartments, simply the best. There isn not any negative. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all staff in the hotel. Food in the restaurant is really delicious. 🙏🙏🙏 wish to spend there more nights.

    For the foodies - you are just spoilt for choice with...

    For the foodies - you are just spoilt for choice with incredible restaurants all over the town. Beautiful vineyards, exquisite wine farms, you need a month to really see and do it all! Recommendations: hire e bikes and go for a ride. Jonkershoek reserve is magnificent. Incredible restaurants: Fat Butcher, Asta, Vendetta to name a few. Wonderful stores and everything so conveniently located.

    With over 150 wineries, Stellenbosch is the premier location of the Cape Winelands. Our guide showed up a bit of the city. We saw the local university and the dining areas. We'd like to stay in the city on our next visit.

    Stellenbosch is modern and is a place for those who are looking for a calm place. The restaurants are very good. Had a spa at one of the wine states....the personnel was very professional and the spa facilities exceeded my expectations. It is cold at this moment but would like to visit again in summer time.
