Twin trees is a lovely cottage, in a quiet area, very private, a nice place with character. The garden is gorgeous with beautiful trees and a relaxing swimming pool. The location was perfect, easy walk to the village. Safe parking on the property. Comfortable bed, the kitchen is well equipped, we had everything we needed. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Everything to make a perfect getaway. We highly recommend it.

    Riebeek Kasteel is quaint and old world charm. The people we met were helpful and friendly.I would recommend that you lock your valuables in the boot of your car as petty theft c an be an issue. There are enough eateries for eveyones taste. Best thing to do is park your car and meander.

    Riebeek Kasteel is olive & wine central. Beautiful. The town is small enough to walk where you want to be even at night. Stunning bars & restaurants. The Royal Hotel is a classic. Olive tours, wine cellar tours. Rent a car in Cape Town and do a self-drive.

    I loved the small town vibe. Everyone was so friendly. We also came across the most amazing tequila bar which had the most amazing Mexican food. Something we did not expect at all. We definitely will be back.

    town is really accessible - galleries, cafes and rolling hills all round and of course good olive oil and wine and very pleasant space to take breaks and have lunch - the Barn is a lovely spot - good views and good food.

    Beautiful little town with plenty on offer.

    Beautiful little town with plenty on offer. We walked around town , had a drink at the hotel and then had a very good dinner across the road. The food was good and the ambience and prices were excellent. We also explored the wine farms around.

    We were there for a MTB race - one night was perfect.

    We were there for a MTB race - one night was perfect. We had dinner in town, coffee in the morning before the race. The town is quaint, not a lot to do - one night is fine. There are some very nice restaurants - depending on budget. At this time of year its very pretty, canola in the fields, snow on the distant mountains. Temperatures of 25deg during the day! Summer would be too hot for me!

    The studio we stayed in was easily accessible from where our vehicle was parked. The facilities in the studio were adequate for what we required for a one night stay, the aircon was welcome after a hot day in Riebeek-Kasteel! The gardens and pool were beautifully kept and we enjoyed a nice swim in the afternoon. Our hosts were very friendly.

    We will never stay anywhere else in Riebeek-Kasteel again. Perfect location, beautifully appointed house, wonderful bed, the most awesome host, and a breakfast that will live long in our memories. I cannot recommend this Guesthouse any higher. Possibly the best B&B we have ever stayed at.

    Lovely stay in Riebeek-Kasteel. La-Montage Lodge has very comfortable and clean rooms with a lovely garden. Ideally located within walking distance from restaurants and shops. A great stay and I would definitely recommend.
