I was with my friend, and we were celebraing her birthday. First of all the location is perfect for any kind of celebration as its on the beach ⛱️. The service is out of this world. The staff made it a point that my friend had the best birthday, and went all out to send complimentary bubbly and birthday card to our room. They made it very special....The food is excellent 👌. They have complimentary shuttle to drive safely within 5 km of the hotel, anytime of the day...5' star shuttle for that matter...Oyster Box is indeed the pinnacle of luxury holidaying, I would recommend it to anyone who wants luxury living. I will definitely be back.

The way they welcomed us Nozipho was friendly and ever smiling. She showed us the building (lounge,kitchen,the pool,the resting place, and our room. Their treatment was on top of a notch 👌. We went to the event and came back at night. we had a bath with hot water. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was smelling fresh. You can be able to cover your face with it. We woke up and had a bath, and they asked what we were going to have for breakfast. I enjoyed being there ☺️ . I will do a booking again in December with my whole family.

    I often visit Durban, every year the city is going down, dirty at some spaces around town. Victoria Market has no value anymore. The city should look at turnaround strategy to attract tourists locally and abroad.

    Ushaka Marine World is a must!

    Ushaka Marine World is a must! The marine life is up so close to you and spectacular and waterslides so much fun, The beaches are the best for swimming. Love the strolls and restaurants on the promenade - feels like I'm in Florida :)

    The room was exceptional and clean with all the amenities you could possibly want. Staff are seen working hard from keeping the stairs clean to cleaning the light fittings in the hallways. Breakfast was excellent. I'm not sure if Belaire has changed management or ownership, but i have stayed there before, and the hotel has really stepped up their accommodation and services since my previous stays. This, in my opinion, is the best hotel to stay at if you must stay at the durban Beachfront area.
