This town is full of surprises. Attended their Winter Wine Festival and found out that they host 7 great events per year. The Historical Oak Avenue in Cullinan is worth the visit. Historically significant destination with an victorian allure, the diamond mine museum and tour recommendable. Spoilt for choice of restaurants and historic sites, wildlife reserves and wedding venues and spa's. Unfortunately, this town like many other 'small' towns is deteriorating similarly!! Shocking, to say the least. We used to love walking around in Oak Street in Cullinan. NOT the SAME anymore - sadly. Quaint town with a lot of history.
Quaint town with a lot of history. Small craft shops and eateries Parking can be a problem in the popular areas . Adventure tours and a tour of the mine can be done ( probably need an extra day). We stay in another guest house first, Dolphins Whisper! Terrible!!! Booked out, lost our money! Found Its Anners guest farm and had a great time! Cullinan is a cute little town. Lovely shops and lots of nice restaurants! Also a market on some weekends with wonderful produce! A good Spar grocery Store! The Butchery is also very good! It is a mining town so rich history and alot to see!Guest review byAnonymous
