Dalat itself has beautiful view of natural landscapes and pleasant atmosphere in many moths each year. Local people, including businesses, are able to help visitors enjoy such conditions if they are willing to. The trip from the airport into town on the very new and modern road inspired expectations of a European or Japanese level of elegance in infrastructure, maintenance and surroundings of a central touristic mountain town, an impression that quickly faded on approaching the town which is quite a mix of buildings, infrastructural features and surroundings of very variable states of quality, originality and maintenance. For me personally, Dalat is simply the hub for accessing the highland sightseeing focus points, a means to an end, so to say. I expected otherwise and was surprised by these impressions but am still glad to have checked it out for myself and made the overland trip down the road to Mui Ne (under construction), experiencing the changing vegetation zones and landscapes between the highlands and the coast.Guest review byGabrieleAustralia - 10.0
