Yes, to get to the property, you have to take a water taxi- but we got in after dark and had no problem finding someone who could take us over to the property by boat. Even including the price of the water taxi, it was still totally worth it. The staff was SO sweet- Milan and (I'm sorry I don't remember the Polish girl's name!!). We only got to spend one night here because of our tight trip schedule but we wished we had stayed way longer. So peaceful, so perfect having each room separate, the best views, and AMAZING food and drinks and staff. This is an absolute MUST visit for anyone who happens across Union Island. It's just non-negotiable.

Bay View Apartments are very sweet and located about a 10 minute walk (up a hill) from the ferry dock. My lovely view from the balcony was overlooking Grand Bay. My room was comfortable and had everything i needed. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Jackie and Neville are the best hosts you can have if you want to travel to Canouan. We stayed in the Bouganvillia apartment, which has a balcony with an extraordinary view of the sea and it has AC in the bedroom. Fun fact about these apartments is that it was Neville who built them including all the interior furniture. The house has plenty of space and has a fully equipped kitchen. Jackie arranged boat trips for us to Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, which are two islands that are a must-see in the Grenadines. Neville, on one of the days he was off work, offered to be our guide climbing up one of the island's hills (Taffia Hill), which is well worth it and has a spectacular view. One day, we needed to buy breakfast at the supermarket, and Jackie said she would get us whatever we needed, and she brought us what we needed (bread and bananas). There are 3 supermarkets on the island, and the Marina supermarket has the most products. Canouan Island has an amazing and very relaxing vibe, we really want to go back. And when we come back, we know which apartment we'll be staying in again.

What a lovely location with a view out the front door of the Atlantic and a view off the lanai to the Caribbean. It is truly the “Atlantic breeze “in that we were very comfortable with the airflow. If you have the opportunity to rent the vehicle along with the unit, do so. This will make your experience in Kawan all that much better and accessible. Our host, Cas, was exceptional, very communicative, and met us at the ferry with the vehicle. The accommodations were excellent!
