This really is an excellent choice. Easily the best place to stay in Termez. The rooms are huge for the price you pay and it is in a quiet, residential suburb. Easy to grab a taxi outside to the city centre or airport but without all the noise and dust of the city centre. Just across the road is an excellent cafe and also a fish restaurant and a shop for supplies is just two minutes away. Very clean, friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful. The spa is also beautiful, with a gym, massage room, pool, huge jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. The Turkish bath was not working, but everything else in the spa was wonderful.

This is an awesome place to stay. Everything in the home is modern, well-designed, comfortable and spacious, especially the communal area. The hospitality was amazing. The home cooked breakfast was not something I expected, but was excellent and I was helped to get onto a city tour with other guests before even asking about it. The bed was super comfortable too. The homestay is a little out of the centre, but is well worth the extra effort and is in any case just a cheap taxi ride away or there is also public transport right outside. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. They even washed our laundry for a fee. The AC worked well. The beds were ok but quite simple. The price was ok at best and compared to other hotels we stayed at actually quite expensive.

    Termez is a quite underestimated city of Uzbekistan.

    Termez is a quite underestimated city of Uzbekistan. The city is hot, it is the most south city of Uzbekistan. Thus, you mostly need to rent a car of use taxi than to walk around. The city looks quite tranquil and safe. Nothing cares less than a border with Afghanistan in km.-distance. What is important is that Termez is very old (3,000 of years) and contains a quite complicated history. In the city and in its surrounding area there are plenty attractions. From Neanderthal and Palaeolithic caves and Greco-Bactrian heritage via Buddhist monasteries of Kushanian Empire to Islamic architecture of different styles. Termez also can boast with an interesting archaeology museum. In the region people produce quality dry wines. I tasted the white, called Sultan, it was nice. Also, around Termez there are a lot of natural attractions. I heard of a balneotherapy resort but I hadn't visited it.
