Upward is a great friendly town .
Upward is a great friendly town . It is near tons of shopping, restaurants, aquarium, and zoo, which were all just beautiful to visit and eat at. We especially loved the little town and the lodge on McMurray Road was beautiful and I had so much to offer there also. The lodge that we stayed at was very close to Pretty Place, Chapel in Cleveland South Carolina, which was breathtaking. The environment and grounds were beautiful. The hotel was rustic and cozy. The hotel in entirety was spotlessly clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having the kitchenette was handy and saved us quite a bit on our budget to cook and eat in our room. The heated pool was amazing and relaxing. Our studio room had an entire kitchen in it! Beds were super comfy and we didn't hear a sound all night. We slept like logs. If you're traveling Interstate 26, the hotel is just one minute (or less) from 26 with a Waffle House and ABC store next door.
