SwitzerlandWe were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.

There are few facilities in the town.
There are few facilities in the town. Sadly the restaurant that looked like it offered some healthy food closed at 6.30pm so we missed out and had to eat at the other "restaurant" which is really a bar serving several types of stodgy hamburgers with overcooked fries.Guest review byMSwitzerland - 8.0
Trout Lake is a very small town with 3 restaurants.
Trout Lake is a very small town with 3 restaurants. We found them all to be pretty good, and especially liked McGowans, where we ate several times. Anyone looking for gourmet dining, nightlife, meals after 7 pm, or entertainment venues should go elsewhere.
