The staff were exceptional. Efficient, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were impeccable. We ate at poggio on staff recommendation and it was delicious. The high ceilings in the rooms, furnishings and the view made this a beautiful stay. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Thank you

The location is great. The view was terrific. Having an apartment with a kitchen and a common area was great for our group. The rooms were clean. The furniture is not exacly new but it is not too tired. Would definitely stay here again.

What a perfect little hotel with great amenities. The location was perfect for visiting Sonoma, Napa, Sausalito, and San Francisco. Great wine and cheese reception nightly and a delicious hot breakfast bar every morning made for a delightful stay. The staff were exceptional and never once neglected to acknowledge your coming or going with a friendly "have a great day" or "welcome back." Free parking is a definite plus and at least 2 restaurants are within walking distance. This is just a very central location for so many sites if you are driving. Do not hesitate to book at this hotel!

We were upgraded for free since they had lots of availability. The house is absolutely stunning. I booked a room here on a whim because we walked past it and it looked so beautiful on the outside. I was so happy to discover it was a hotel!

    Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat.

    Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat. THe views from the harbor are outstanding, acros the bay to San Francisco and the other bay islands. It's also a great base to vist San Francisco from . You can take the ferry or take an inexpensive bus ride which takes about 40 minutes and has the added avantage of a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge on the way. The bus opeartes every hour throughout the day and the ferry every 2 hours 0700-1800. If you want live music in a friendly bar then the No Name Bar is for you. Great music and a good selection of micro brews. Hotels are rather expensive but this is the same in downtown San Francisco. Highly reccomended.

    We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break.

    We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break. Sausalito is full of live, people shopping, walking around. However, only after 11-12. In the morning everything is closed... no one on the streets. We were wondering where everyone was.

    LOVED the location - views of the Golden Gate Bridge are unbeatable. Food was very good as well, we ate at both the restaurant and pub. Within easy biking distance of the bridge and 20 minute bike ride into Sausalito.
