We had several experiences of Florida hotelrooms for 5 people in a row and this was by far the best. It was not too cramped, even though the five of us stayed in the same room. There were towels and linen for five (which I couldn't say about the other hotels we went to). Beds were comfy, bathroom was really nice and had great shampoo, shower gel and even loiton in there. The breakfast was great.

The hotel fully corresponds to its purpose. Near the airport. Clean, well-kept territory, safe parking. The room had a good refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Hot water, shower, bed everything is good. I do not understand why guests give a low rating to this hotel.

    We went in early May and were very happy with the lack of congestion in the stores and the streets. We were told that after Easter, it is the “off season”. I think if we return (we most certainly will). I would like to go again in May. The weather is perfect (mid to upper 80s) and there is something for everybody. You also very close to Fort Myers’s and Tampa which opens an entire world of possibilities. Don’t overlook this “gem” of a destination!

    Punta Gorda It’s a very small city, which has a lot of rivers Downtown OK , not much do with the family or is Punta Gorda isn’t very much family Orientated their focus is on my older crowd and not people with familys

    So many great places to eat!

    So many great places to eat! Our favorite this trip - TT's Tiki Bar. On the water, great choices for lunch if you are looking for seafood, they also have burgers. Had dinner at Laishley Crab House, which is also near the water. Drove up to North Port for lunch at Anna Maria's Oyster Bar - so delicious! Punta Gorda is very easy to navigate. They also had an Art Festival over the weekend, and you can walk along the waters edge. Be sure to check out Fisherman's Village, also! Did not make it to the Botanical Gardens, but I hear it is fabulous!

    Loved everything about the place but wish we knew ahead of time what type of coffee maker was there. Ate at some fabulous places near by, loved Rivera Bar & Grill! Easy to get around and stores close by. I would highly recommend this place!

    We were very excited to explore Punta Gorda.

    We were very excited to explore Punta Gorda. We originally had accomodations at Ft Myers but was contacted after hurricane In Nov 2022 that our hotel stay was not possible. Our excitement soon turn to nightmare when we arrived at our hotel that we booked thru Booking.com and found it boarded up and closed. After scrambling to get rooms at several different hotels we found Punta Gorda very pleasing as far as walking to places and the restaurants and bars being very friendly with good food and drinks. Was not real touristy with tshirts being sold on every corner like you find in other areas. We also had beautiful weather. Enjoyed the live music in the bars. Hotel situation sucked but Punta Gorda was a nice place to visit!

    Good central location for travelers wanting to go north on...

    Good central location for travelers wanting to go north on the Florida gulf side OR south on the Florida gulf side. Punta Gorda pluses are: Peace River Wildlife Center (bird sanctuary) and Carmelo's Italian restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice outside dining area. Make sure you get reservations, as it gets very busy.

    Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was so nice with a beautiful shower. We loved the rooftop bar and views but shame the breakfast was not served up there midweek.
