The umbrellas on the beach (if you can afford them) is a pleasure. They are up at daylight and you don't have to carryn all that Beach stuff except a cooler. Attractions were close to hotel. Souvenirs were plentiful and reasonable. Restaurants decently priced. Pool was nice size and water temperature was comfortable. We went to Hooters, Friendly’s and buffet restaurant, Red Robin, all clean and friendly staff. Enjoyed Ripley Aquarium, medieval Times and pirate show. Multiple places to play miniature golf. We always have a great time at Myrtle Beach.
We always have a great time at Myrtle Beach. We are gym rats and the local Planet Fitness is so awesome. The People there are so friendly we always seem to meet some new friends there when we visit. We definitely enjoy all the food in South Myrtle but our favorite place was Simply Southern Smokehouse. The buffet is 15.00 all you can eat includes drink. The waitress sings too! It was a great experience and the food was all soul food. Very good! We mainly go to rest and rejuvenate so we spend a lot of time at the pools and beach. Myrtle Beach has a large variety of affordable hotels with amenities such as kitchens and multiple pools to choose from that are walking distance to the beach. Makes it very easy to visit the beach at different times of the day and year and enjoy it to the fullest. Very family and dog friendly beach. We visited end of summer.
