My Wife and I are seasoned travelers and have stayed at " 5 Star" facilities that were not as welcoming or attentive to our needs. The convenience of a great restaurant next door, down the street was walk-up take-out for sea food and ice cream. Up the hill are two more very good restaurants within walking distance. We had a view of the ocean and ferries going to neighboring islands. The waves lapping at the shore helped put us to sleep every night! A couple of seals were in the area and the first evening, the couple swam a water ballet just under our window! It was healing to be away from the usual rat race. Mukilteo is a sleepy little town with much to offer; I would stay again when needing to decompress. Doesn't get better. More importantly, the staff were wonderful -- impeccably courteous -- and I mean everyone. This has got to be one of the best hotels for the money in Washington State.
