The room was clean and equiped with anything you need. Even a laundry basket. Our apartment was on the first floor just beside the lake and the big chess which the kids loved playing in the morning while we got organized.

The hotel is very modern and big. It has many facilities and is in a very central location. Although it is very big, the feature I liked the most was that we did not have to wait in line for the elevators. The rooms have all the facilities. The view was amazing.

    Great stay at The Alea!

    Great stay at The Alea! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect—walking distance to Bayside, Bayfront Park, and great restaurants, plus just a quick drive to South Beach and the cruise port. Would definitely stay again!

    Came for a cruise was there over night prior to the cruise. Just make sure you are aware what time the counter of your departing flight open see set in the Ft. Lauderdale airport for 5.5 hours before the counter opened so we can check in .

    I am not a big city person.

    I am not a big city person. Too much traffic and to many people for me but each to his own if you like this sort of thing, you will love Miami. Also, would help you if you could speak other languages I could not so it was hard to communicate during some of our interactions.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight.

    I only go to Miami just to get a flight. Miami is not nice at all for me. Super expensive and not worth it. As you go out of Miami towards Aventura I like it more, and if going to Fort Lauderdale much better. Also I prefer to go to Naples, this place is paradise, but Miami is not nice at all for me (its almost a caos, full of people and very expensive). the other locations I mention have a better standard at a lower price.

    My family had a layover in Miami, we explored the Wynwood walls and the area around it, then headed to Little Havana and had a lovely stroll on Calle Ocho. Given the limted time, we saw quiet a lot and the overall experience was great!

    So different from everyday life with wonderful weather & exceptional views. Loved the shopping & also strolling round the waterfront at Bayside. All the people we came into contact with (including a lot of uber drivers) were so helpful & friendly. We stayed a few days prior to a cruise & a day after.

    Very well situated, super walkable for Downtown and Brickell area. The pool was decent, the gym is the biggest selling point as it's very well equipped, everything works and it's maintained. You get two beach chairs at Boucher Brothers 5th Avenue in South beach which was very nice (but you need to bring the towels). Hotel room is not carpeted. Towels were changed daily. Room comes with a small fridge.

    The view from the apt was really amazing !! The apt is very comfortable and the host very kind and ready to give all the replies to our questions and help to cope with our necessities. The position is perfect to visit Brickell and Miami ...you need the car only for going to South Beach or for other trips out of the city.

    Great comfy beds, close to the airport and bayside marketplace, but not on south beach which is ideal to avoid tourist trap prices. Nice Publix shop across the street for any essentials. Starbucks in reception is ok but a little pricey.
