The room itself was very clean. The parking was very nice and accommodating. It had these color changing lights too, which made the room very fun and was very unexpected, in a good way. The bed was comfy too and had nice sheets and blankets.

The place was very modern and very clean. Next to 2 metro stations and very near the bus stop. 1 bus that leads you to almost all the iconic tourist spots. Its also near the union station - great access to and from the airport.

    The smoke detector was missing from the room, the fire extinguisher was missing from the box in the hallway, the elevator wasn't working. I paid cash for the room and the desk clerk wouldn't give me a receipt. There was only a curtain on the bathroom.

    My two night stay was a good experience .

    My two night stay was a good experience .The Quiet the relaxation ,and staff Is understanding and welcoming and most of all they dont disturb their guest but always accomadated my needs.Polite and respectfull have given me reason to always choose Maywoodinn.

    The hotel is average not bad not great.

    The hotel is average not bad not great. Manager double charged I payed through you guys booking.com. He said no I had not payed through booking. Argued a little with him. So he committed fraud. Double charged my credit card for a damn average room for a few hours of overnight stay. Fighting for 140.00 back to my credit card. And Booking.com does not make it easy to get your money back to your credit card. Very difficult to understand customer service too. Frustrated all around

    This is an unfair question for me because I grew up here in...

    This is an unfair question for me because I grew up here in Maywood, lol. Just like any other city it has it's good side of town and a bad side, given said that , they have cleaned up this city quite a bit and any bad sides are minimal. Predominantly Latin, patrolled by the LA County Sheriff's Dept., I can honestly say that here in Maywood I can go for a walk at night and not worry about becoming a victim. Maywood is not that big so getting around is fairly quick and easy. There really isn't much of a night life here, so for the solo traveler I would suggest making sure your Netflix is current and find someone to "chill" with. I hope this helps.
