CanadaI loved the quirks of the historical rooms and buildings, and was happy to see that the owners have not OVER modernized the place. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Although our room did not have a private bathroom, it was great to have our own sink in the room.

CanadaWe loved the accomodations and hospitality of the hosts. The lake side property was very well decorated and the food was delicious! The doggies were super cute and friendly and the bedrooms were very homey.

Like many mill towns in the northern half of Maine, the town...
Like many mill towns in the northern half of Maine, the town may have seen better days but it's still fairly nice and appears to be more vibrant than towns like Millinocket. The location on Mattanawcook Pond was nice and it's very close to the Penobscot River with its boat ramps and fishing. Downtown Lincoln has a good assortment of stores and restaurants which make staying there very nice.Guest review byHillbillyTimUnited States - 8.0
We weren't there to see Lincoln.
We weren't there to see Lincoln. We were there to meet friends in Enfield. Lincoln was under construction. But to me that only means improvements. We didn't even c all of Lincoln, so I cant give it a fair review. But the restaurant we went to had amazing food. The Beef & Ale. I had french onion soup & lobster stuffed Potato AMAZING. Hubby had Lobster alfredo so good. Nice town. We only saw one stretch of Lincoln were our inn was. I highly recommend the Whitetail Inn & suites.
