The staff were exceptional. Efficient, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were impeccable. We ate at poggio on staff recommendation and it was delicious. The high ceilings in the rooms, furnishings and the view made this a beautiful stay. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Thank you

What a perfect little hotel with great amenities. The location was perfect for visiting Sonoma, Napa, Sausalito, and San Francisco. Great wine and cheese reception nightly and a delicious hot breakfast bar every morning made for a delightful stay. The staff were exceptional and never once neglected to acknowledge your coming or going with a friendly "have a great day" or "welcome back." Free parking is a definite plus and at least 2 restaurants are within walking distance. This is just a very central location for so many sites if you are driving. Do not hesitate to book at this hotel!

This is a motel but with very nicely finished rooms and grounds. Spotlessly clean with modern decor, new furnishings and a lovely big comfy bed. New capsule coffee machine and a good sized TV in the room. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Would def stay here again.

The upstairs occupants were noisy - it's as if they crossed the room in a foot race - very late - shd've called, but didn't. The concierge, Jeff, was wonderful. Efficient, courteous, professional and has a good sense of humor as well. The Lodge is lovely, the grounds, and although we didn't use the bar or restaurant, enjoyed the whole area - very pretty. Also, surprised with the wine bar in the afternoon. Thank you very much

    Walking around in the small local towns.

    Walking around in the small local towns. Best meals I had were at Piazza D'Angelo's in Mill Valley and the Garden Cafe in San Rafael. I think its best to rent a car to drive through all the local towns in the area. My favorite spot was the McNear's Beach.

    The property was very well maintained. The staff were great and always happy to help us. The pool and outdoor sitting areas were very nice. It is next to a small shopping area with lots of shops which was great. The ferry to San Francisco is less than 2 minutes away. It was less than 20 minutes to drive to San Francisco and less than 30 minutes to Sonoma. It was the perfect location for our trip.

    The Staff was very friendly and courteous. Check-in was very efficient and I wanted to compliment the young lady who checked us in on Friday afternoon. Nice location across the street from Larkspur Landing with the shops and restaurants. An added bonus was the Farmer's Market on Saturday.

    We did not have time for the breakfast! The entire staff was super friendly. We did eat in the Bistro which offered healthy meals. The landscaping around the hotel is beautiful and the late winter vegetation is in bloom. The hotel was very clean and orderly.

    Perfect base to avoid parking driving in sf given known issues ferry just in front of hotel perpect to nip back and forth very wuikly and cheaply right into city

    Good for a quick meal. Had been on a plane for 10 hours and just wanted a quick meal and go to sleep. Hotel was Quiet so I was able to get much needed sleep.
