Nice main building, atmosphere and surroundings. Check in easy with code, much, much better than having to spend 10 minutes watching somebody work the computer at the lobby while you booked online prior arrival anyway, which seems to be standard in hotels. Many kudo's for this!!

We loved that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including spices, coffee, snacks, chip clips, etc. So much cookware to choose from (even a muffin pan and an apple baker dish!). The overall decor was great - a simple, matching comfortable feel to the place. The beds were so comfortable (and king size!) We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the wildlife (Deer on the ground, Geese in the air), drinking our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! The facilities in the Coosawattee River Resort itself were great.

    The manager was the best I have had.

    The manager was the best I have had. They had a water pipe burst. I was there 4 nights. Didn’t know they didn’t have a microwave and fridge in the room. The manager rolled them on a cart for me. The machine that you get hot water from is broken, but she got me water to heat in the microwave.

    Small town @ the foothills of the mountains.

    Small town @ the foothills of the mountains. Most places are closed on Sunday and many of the breakfast spots are only open during the week so plan accordingly. We loved Jax coffee (awesome quality) and ate at the Old Mulehouse which was tasty.

    The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, which was to be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Jasper itself is wonderful and we had a great time exploring it on foot. We would have liked some protein options for breakfast. We did have dinner at the tavern and it was excellent along with the service. Everyone we met at the tavern were very gracious and hospitable. We didn't meet any staff from the inn.

    The hotel consists of actually 2 buildings, the main and a side building. We had a room in the side building and the door codes were provided with the reservation email. This did not work as staff did not update the door code but was quickly resolved. The hotel includes a good restaurant which was popular with locals, and the location is good with a bridge and shopping street on walking distance.

    The location was excellent, right in the heart of downtown Jasper. The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the charm of the older home, but it may not be for everyone. The beds were very comfortable.
