There are many great restaurants near by.
There are many great restaurants near by. I expected a lot of southern fried fish but was happy to see that was a rare option with fantastic Cajon options and innovative local ideas. We found great coffee and breakfast spots. Getting around was a breeze but perhaps that was a function of us being there at "off season." We like the absence of tall, intrusive signs, mini tee golf and go-cart tracks. We liked the lack of "tacky" and the abundant manicured look to the town.Guest review byGaryBarbara - 10.0

My wife and I have been coming to Gulf Shores for years. Love the people and the beach is awesome. Bahama Bob's has some of the best seafood you'll find, as does The Gulf. Gulf Shores is beautiful! We are spoiled here in Alabama with our sugar white sands and beautiful beaches. We have taken our (now adult) children to many places and many beaches over the years, but Gulf Shores is by far their favorite beach destination. We love coming down to Gulf Shores from Tuscaloosa for a quick getaway. Even though our trip was short this time, we always enjoy the decent beaches and solid food options.
