    Florence was a lovely surprise.

    Florence was a lovely surprise. We had never stayed there before. The downtown area was a great shopping experience. There are many awesome stores. There are several grocery stores too. next time I would like to try the group dune buggy experience. This was my first time this way so it was a good exploration. I have to say it was really fun to hike the sand dunes!

    I wish we could have stayed longer.

    I wish we could have stayed longer. The new owners have done a great job of renovating. Would be a great place for relaxing and enjoying the scenery -- we were only stopping through, but I wish we'd had more time!

    Florence was only 5 miles from the house. Great restaurants, shops, beach & lake. The people in Florence are GREAT --friendly & accommodating. Love the dune buggy ride & Miniature Golf at Sandland Adventures --FUN! Sea Lion Caves just a short distance outside of Florence --WOW! Eight girlfriends including myself had a Girlfriends Week in the Florence area & enjoyed every moment.

    Old Town had a great ambience with lots of shopping and art...

    Old Town had a great ambience with lots of shopping and art galleries to explore. Lack of breakfast options in Old Town was a drawback. Highly recommend The Green Room for a fine dining experience. Of course, the nearby Dunes Seashore Park is a must see, but take your food and drinks as there are no such facilities.

    Great shopping. Good restaurants, grocery stores. Ocean views are spectacular! Cold and rainy during winter months - visit during summer. Hwy 101 is scary driving - too many drop offs, no road "shoulders", sunken roads, road slides. Need a new highway!

    Florence has beautiful beaches if you head towards north. The Inn is close to the old town (which I imagined a little bit more interesting or charming). It’s friendly and the rooms have mosquito net on their windows. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.
