It was a great location for the family event I was attending. The room was pretty clean and the front staff were friendly. I liked that there were restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The check-in was a breeze... very friendly staff, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Breakfast was exceptional. I was delightfully surprised at the quality of the preparation. Nicely presented and sumptuous!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean hotel with comfortable beds and great facilities. Ideal location for anyone who wants to explore New York City and then retreat to a quieter suburb. Short walk to Tuckahoe train station which gets you to Grand Central station in 35 minutes.

Staff is just fantastic, calm, professional, kind. Building is clearly a conversion from residential, so it’s more solid, better finishes, huge rooms. Nicest Residence Inn we’ve ever encountered.

    Although interesting and nice, Dobbs Ferry is not a...

    Although interesting and nice, Dobbs Ferry is not a destination. Generally people stay there because they have family in one of the rivertowns. It is easy to get to the city on metro north, but you won't feel like you are in NYC.

    The location was very convenient.

    The location was very convenient. The room and public areas were very nice--it looks like a new building. The neighborhood was nice for a walk. The check-in experience was not great: the clerk tried for a long time to produce keys without letting us know what was going on, and finally had to walk us to a room across from the elevator, which we had not asked for. Then she had to walk us back to the front desk to change our room to another one, which was very quiet. The front desk was often unattended. We left by just leaving our keys on the desk because there was no one there. We might have used the hotel shuttle, which was clearly visible, but were told it was not running. What was it for?
