This was a great stay to visit a friend in Clearwater. The hotel is new, clean, with great facilities and friendly staff. Free onsite parking and breakfast. Good size room and bathroom. Would stay again.

Most important part of vacation is hotel stay. We were two families (4 adults & 3 children). The stay was very good, if you have rental car this place would be great location with affordable cost near Clearwater Beach. Special mentions breakfast, jacuzzi, swimming pool. Internet was okay not terrible, it didn't bother us since we were not using our mobile phones a lot during our stay. We requested for late checkout and they gladly accepted our request and extended it till 1pm instead of 12pm. Overall, it was a fun stay we enjoyed staying there, I would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful hotel, quiet, clean, the guy who set the breakfast really make an effort to meke averything good. The first day they made a mistake about our room and we have to wait like and hour, not nice, because we get to the hotel after ther check in time.

    I have lived in Clearwater since 1967. Our condo is being totally renovated due to damage from Milton. My daughter and I have lived in the condo for 30 years. Sleep Inn is great to stay at when we drive from Port Orange, FL to check on the progression of things, visit friends and continue seeing our family Doctors.

    I have every confidence that if you are clear with exactly what you want the hosts would definitley do their best to accommodate you! I think it's great to be at the end of a restaurant strip. As you are coming or going you always turn the right way to find something.

    I enjoyed Ft.

    I enjoyed Ft. Desotto the most with it's long pier and seeing the dolphins and other wildlife. The traffic wasn't great and was sometimes frustrating. I didn't like being forced to pay a toll to Fort Desotto. Mariella's was a very affordable and tasty Mexican restaurant. John's Pass was ok and beach was free.

    The water was anything but clear..

    The water was anything but clear.. The beach had a hard packed cement type substance that's stuck to your body for a week.. The hotel rooms were not as clean as they should have been for the price let alone there were not available. There was over a million people in this tiny place and you could not cross the street.. The police bother everybody It seems like unless you look like you are a millionaire.. there were machines packing down the sand all day back and forth and it was totally annoying.. And of course again there were police bothering everybody.. spring break was going on and it looked like a big Chuck E cheese fest..

    Beautiful beaches, but area is crowded. Parking is expensive and not free. Not a place to function with a car. Ate locally and on site to lesson having to drive a lot. Some good food on the beach bars in resort hotels.

    I have always loved Tampa and Clearwater Beach.

    I have always loved Tampa and Clearwater Beach. Clearwater itself is convenient to both of those cities, but not what I would consider a destination for itself. My recommendation is to book at least a week in advance if possible, in order to get more options. Booking .com has some residential properties that look really good and have great reviews. unfortunately, the high cleaning fees ($100-200 per stay) make a short stay somewhat expensive. Frenchy's original Restaurant on Baymont Street in Clearwater Beach has been one of my favorite restaurants for years and it was perfect again this year. Afternoon traffic in Clearwater is pretty bad and probably worse on weekends.

    it was central to most things we booked in Clearwater. Our room was clean and presented well. The breakfast was lovely and we liked the free chilled / hot drinks throughout the day. The pool area was very cute and perfect for what we needed. The staff were also so lovely, especially Kim on the front desk and another gentleman that we see in the morning at breakfast time. Both extremely welcoming and polite.

    TV broken, Remote wrapped in tape. Bed springs made noise. Vending machine for drinks out of order. Candy machine STALE candy. Floor stained. Breakfast bad, cheap utensils. Hot water not turned on. No fruit. Seemed like people were coming off the street to get free breakfast. No attendant. When we checked in the desk, she made my wife show her ID. We are both 66 years old. Are people bringing hookers in?
