It is renovated yet retains some vintage features. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and I felt safe. Had frig and microwave.

Marceline is my hometown and the little Hotel has been here for decades. It use to be called the Lamplighter. I came back for my 50th Class Reunion. It’s a very clean and nice Hotel. I would highly recommend it! Thank you

I would say Brookfield is alright as a small town goes.

I would say Brookfield is alright as a small town goes. Amenities such as fast food were adequate, and even a nicer looking Walmart. I also visited a small campground on the south side of town, past the Walmart store. I was only in town overnight for a funeral. So I would admit that I probably don't have the most educated opinion of the town.
