Our visit to Baton Rouge is yearly as we come and spend some time with my bro-in-law. We love the old world charm of BR, including the small streets and great food! Springhill Suites is not far from the action and close to every thing needed during our stays. Louisiana has great food and it's people are very friendly. We had an event to go to at raising canes and found the walk ability and cleanliness of the town very pleasant. We had perfect weather which helped a lot. Great food, lots of eating places to try. Louisiana Lagniappe is the best, but you need a reservation. Many places to shop, but the traffic is difficult most of the time. We stayed in the College Drive area during the visit, did not have time to visit other areas.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

I was there for work. Didn’t do any “fun stuff”. Louisiana is a beautiful state, Baton Rouge is a beautiful city - I’ve been there many times, but the overriding factor is TRAFFIC! I work many of the big cities in the South from Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, etc. None compare to the nightmare of getting around in Baton Rouge.Guest review byDannyUnited States

The owner (who checked us in, if she was in fact the owner), was very polite and we could tell she cared about making this hotel a nicer place to stay than it used to be. Stayed there as a family with 2 teenage girls, so wifi was key for a harmonic vacation. The location of the house is quite convenient, 10min to LSU campus, 20min to downtown Baton Rouge. Also near a Walmart supercenter. The house is well equipped with all tools needed to cook and have a pleasant stay. Also communication with the host is easy, convenient and fast.
