Of course the cookies are always worth a stay at a Double Tree! The establishment was clean and Torge’s Pub was super fun! There were a lot of locals and everyone was super friendly. Great rooms, good food and drinks plus live entertainment made it a super experience overall! Definitely make sure to also hit the Spam Museum and check out downtown Austin!Guest review byNygaard - 8.0

This is where I grew up. No longer looks or seems the same. Favorite places either have moved or gone completely. Some areas have improved, but a great deal have lost the charm of the past. austin is not small and not too big of a city.
austin is not small and not too big of a city. Downtown has beautiful old building a lot of history. I think it's nice to walk downtown and see how about all the business places actually have a business and not just another empty building. It's so great to see a community work so good together and be so supportive not only for austin but all the small farm communities are included too. This part of Southern Minnesota is a beautiful place to live or just visit.Guest review bylindzey93
