Great place to visit. Very walkable place. We drove from Denver to Aspen; beautiful drive but the last hour or so, should be done during daylight hours as the road gets very narrow, with very close and dangerous curves. If possible, fly directly into Aspen.Guest review byBARBARA - 8.0

The town is wonderful but much different than our first trip fifty years ago and all of it is not for the best either but it’s still a great town but bring you money as it’s very expensive. Aspen was absolutely beautiful. 100% worth going. Everything is very clean. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. The town provides bus service to several places for free which is great. They also provide a free taxi service that travels inside the city for free. Makes it awesome for your short trips so you aren't constantly having to deal with parking or trying to GPS everywhere with the amount of pedestrians. The gondola was an amazing adventure also. EVERYTHING in town is very pricey so be prepared for some expensive meal tickets.Guest review byJosh - 10.0

I visited Aspen with my family over the Christmas holiday and the town was just magical. The friendly and helpful nature of the people in this little town made us feel at home. Ski lessons at Buttermilk was the highlight of our trip. The mountain was beautiful and our instructor was awesome. Literally a few steps away from AJAX and the ski hire Four Mountains which provides an excellent ski concierge service so you keep your skis with them all week and every day you tell them where you want your skis to be in the morning, which allows you to seamlessly access all mountains. The room was large and spacious and if you had wanted to cook the kitchen was fully stocked. The staff were really accomodating and the pool and spa were nice and warm for an after ski soak. We traveled in a group of 3 and each of us had a bedroom with double bed and a private bathroom - very convenient. Fireplace with real wood, all ready and easy to set. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Easy and friendly communication with host who quickly responded to any queries we had. Apartment is located right next to gondola and 5min walk to Aspen Center.
