House needs a lot of work.
House needs a lot of work. Hot tub out of action due to snow, apparently have been for a long time so we should have been informed and given the option to move booking. Towel rails falling off the wall. No hot water for night when we arrived. We had to figure out how to turn it on and let it heat up for day 2. Bathroom floors were filthy. Keyless entry didn’t work so kids had to wait in the cold while we sought access to back up key No cell phone coverage. Not enough crockery/flatware for a party larger than 4. Location is walkable to Alpine Meadows with nice views, walkable or can use Mountaineer free shuttle service with downloaded app. For us, Mountaineer was 10-11 minute wait, and very convenient. The place was clean, well furnished, and had a pretty well-stocked kitchen. It is on the top floor and was quiet and comfortable. Was very comfortable with lots of space, and had everything that we needed. We were there fir the western States 100 Endurance Race which my husband and son were running. The location is perfect. 5 mins to Olympic Valley. 5 mins to lake tahoe.
