Good hotel with necessary safety issues. Very good location, 5 min to the city center. Perfect view to the lake from the window. Despite of the shortage of electricity in Ukraine the supply of electricity was constant and sustain using the generator. The internet access was good. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Ternopil for the best view of the lake and continually visiting the city center for great restaurants and cafes. Outside of the center, Kovcheg and Stariy Miln are outstanding theme restaurants that must not be missed! Although there are many parks and museums throughout the city, I find that just sticking to the main square or the lake are all you need to enjoy Ternopil.Guest review byMattUkraine - 10.0

A very tranquil and meditative city that I enjoyed a lot, especially after Kyiv. A picturesque lake with nearby parks alone make the city worthy of visiting. Easy to navigate without a map. Truely historical beautiful centre. If the weather was better (almost November), would definitely enjoy the parks more which I imagine are wonderful in hot weather. Do not visit during rainy weather - or live on the top of the hill, so that water does not splash at you when you walk up the streets leading to the city centre. We booked a deluxe room, same as last time, and this room was a bit disappointing. Not sure why, it was a different shape and seemed smaller. That said, it was clean, bed was fine, shower was good, although water not hot. Typical dishes for breakfast like scrambled eggs and sandwiches. Personel was very nice and polite. They tried to help me in any situation.
