Truly enjoyed the pristine beach and the laid back nature of the place. Totally enjoyed several meals at Fish Restaurant which were absolutely delicious. I tried Kingfish, Changu, Perch, White Snapper, Prawns etc. The seafood was phenomenal. We also enjoyed seeing the turtles and the artwork at several curio shops. Also enjoyed an early morning boat ride seeing the dolphins. I can't believe how fast time went by. Looking forward to visiting Zanzibar again.Guest review byAnthonyUnited States - 10.0

It is the farthest tip of the island...about 1:20 taxi drive. Next time, I would stay on the blower east side where there are villages and hotels. But for first time Nungwi was lively offering many activities.Guest review byrosalie - 10.0

The staff are exceptional. They are intentional about hospitality, constantly checking if everything is okay and responding instantly to any requests I had. The resort was amazing and looked after to perfection. Nothing was to much trouble and absolutely everything was provided for. The beach was very safe and clean and the ocean clear and warm. Plenty of water sport activities to choose from and of course security around but not over facing. Perfection. It’s about an hour and a half to 2 hours from the airport. The beach was nice, smooth white sand, and nice clear water. The sellers on the beach are overly pushy and never leave you alone, and they just keep coming. One leaves the next comes. Staff is simply incredible, you see that each of them is doing everything to make you have a good time. Even the GM is almost every day asking how are you doing and if there is any feedback. It is at the heart of Nungwi. Rooftop Bar has the best view ever for the sunset and beach. Food is very good and menu has very large selection.
