This is place is paradise! Everything was perfect. The location is not in the center of Lushoto, but you can easily get there with a Boda. The view is breathtaking and service ist excellent. Everybody is so friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. I loved it so much, that I even stayed longer, than I originally planned. Thanks for everything.

Lawns Hotel is situated a bit outside the town center, but a short walling distance away. It has beautiful setting with gardens and terrace. We stayed twice, at the start and end of our mountain trek, and it was a real treat. Both rooms were comfortable and . clean . Breakfastwelll was excellent.

Great staff - Mikey and his mum are great! They let us leave our big backpacks during our 3 day trek from Lushoto to Mtae (you don't need a guide to do it!) Near the bus station. Clean and comfortable.

Perfect accommodation for visiting the Usambara Mountains. Large room with the best shower we have had in Tanzania. The breakfast and dinners were incredible: natural cuisine and lots of food. But the best thing was the kindness of all the staff and above all the help that David gives you in everything. He managed all the transfers for us from Moshi and then to Zanzibar, always taking care of all the details.

The view is just amazing! And I really appreciate , that they helped us exploring Lushoto on our own. If you need, they offer guided tours, but they also let you explore the region by yourself, which I think is not common with every accomodation there. So, I am really happy we stayed at Jua Zuri. We also enjoyed eating dinner there, because it was always really good and is served on the quiet terrace and you will eat together with the other guests, which was a really nice bonding experience.

It's not the place for people who look for perfect 5-star hotel experience, but it's for people who look for perfect atmosphere, nature and views:) Room we stayed in was very nice, with balcony. The host - Hamza, is super charming, positive person and he will make sure your stay will be great. For breakfasts and dinners, the portions are superbig and the food is tasty.

Mickfanaka is a wonderful person and host! The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you need. Mickfanaka is a wonderful cook and will cook you a feast for dinner and breakfast! I had lovely chats with him about all things local and life in general. You will feel at home here and very well taken care of ❤️

I can recommend this cozy accomodation. Steven and his family gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. They do everything to make you feeling like at home. I enjoyed dinner with this kind family and learned about the lokal life. Stevens wife is a great cooker. The environment is quiet in the middle of nature. The owner organized a guid for hiking...that was a great experience. This place is very clean and calm and Steven planted many fruit trees with delicious fruits he offerted to me. I had a very good time in Galapagos Homestay.

    It's an amazingly beautiful place.

    It's an amazingly beautiful place. We enjoyed walking, waterfalls and a sunset viewpoint drink. We only stayed for 2 nights so only had one full day and could've enjoyed at least a second day.

    Well honestly I had a bit of a problem when I first arrived,...

    Well honestly I had a bit of a problem when I first arrived, but the staff was so considerate and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay at their hotel. And the administration was simply amazing. It’s my honest opinion that staying at Kakakuona Lodge made my first time in Lushoto that much more memorable.
