the whole ambience made me feel like i was in Zanzibar for the first time. It was paradise. The staff was great especially Ayubu - he took it upon himself to ensure that we were more than comfortable. definitely coming back for longer

Always the best choice for a stay in Stonetown. Central location, very unique interior, I loved my room, the CAPPUCCINO SUITE. Nice food, and the coffee... don't forget the coffee. Will be back for sure.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Best breakfast in Zanzibar, with 3 main options but adaptable to your desires. Super nice staff. Water whenever, you’ll find a bottle to reuse/refill in the bedroom. Super close to the central Stone Town, beaches, best restaurants and cafes, atm just around the corner, small businesses and main stores. Cosy hotel, with only 14 bedrooms, you feel like part of a small community. Fan and A/C in the room was a plus. Spacious rooms! And a welcome cake and juice on arrival, was perfect.

There is an elevator to upper floor. The breakfast was good but could be better, need more vegetables. The pool area was nice. The hotel itself in the heart of Stone Town, close to everything so it's a good choice

Excellent location on the seafront close to the ferry. Staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had to print off visas which they happily did for us. Excellent breakfast overlooking the harbour. Big spacious rooms

Really nice and warm feeling of the hotel, beautiful colors, design and decorations, great location and quiet for being in the middle of the Stone Town. The room we got was spacious (we chose the 25m2 room) with enough space for luggages and clothes. We even had our own terrace outside the room, which was just amazing! The staff was very friendly and professional and the breakfast had many options to choose from! The hotel even offers water for free for the guests to replenish the water bottles! You can find these water coolers on the corridors of the hotel!
