Lovely clean and very comfortable large rooms. We had an amazing sea view and our second room was right by the pool. The hotel is close to the main strip with lots of restaurants and bars; the harbour and older parts of the town are also easily walkable. Fatih and his family couldn’t do more to look after us.

The hotel its self is beautiful. The views are breathtaking, the facilities were top class and the staff were all amazing. As it is a big place they offer golf cart lifts around the hotel if required but we walked mostly because the views are so enjoyable. The option for pools and sun loungers was impressive. They had a beach club with area reserved for hotel guests only as well beach club goers, they all had amazing loungers and dips into the ocean. Then there was two infinity pools. Our favourite one was beside the spa as the view from there was amazing. The food options were really good as there were a lot of choices on the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner and the quality of the food was really good. A good drinks menu on top of this. The rooms were amazing. Very modern and cool design. Loads of space and very clean. They have everything you need and if missing anything you can make a quick call and they would have it dropped up. Most importantly the staff were all exceptional! Very attentive and informative. Consistently through out our stay we felt very welcome and taken care off. Thank you!

The location was excellent: at the heart of old town, close to beach and all critical facilities such as buses, taxis, shops, bars and restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful, very friendly; they were helping us with advises and also accomodating any special needs we had. Breakfast was so geneerous and delicous freshly cooked with local dish varieties every morning included. Hotel has also restaurant which was very delicious, especially mezzes and ´atom’ are no miss. Overall we had wonderful time.

The view of the hotel is extraordinary! Usually you don't expect such an unblocked sea view with a three-star hotel...! Owner is very friendly. They have a super cute dog, who even walks you to the parking lot in the evening... sweet and clever. But the hotel is a bit far from the central town (about 15-20mins walk), and has little light along the road. It would be best if you have a car..!

    Kalkan is a great location for those who enjoy good food and...

    Kalkan is a great location for those who enjoy good food and the sea. Almost everyone can speak English and it caters for everyone. A great place for foodies!! Most villas have pools so it’s nice to chill back at the villa but also head out to the beaches. The prices are not Turkish prices which is a shame so be prepared to pay home (UK) prices but with a sea view and good service. It’s easy enough to jump in a taxi and get to the centre so it doesn’t matter if you stay either side of Kalkan. If you want to head a bit further out, Kekova (Sunken City) is just over an hour, Patara Beach is about 20 mins and Kas is lovely to walk around or catch a day trip to one of the Greek Islands. There are a number of beach clubs across Kalkan that vary in service and price but would recommend Zest and Kalamar Beach Club. Both offer very different experiences but a nice way to spend a day. Boat tours are a nice way of getting away for the day too with daily boat trips available both privately and as joint groups. I would highly recommend doing a private trip if there are 6 or more of you.

    Prices are very high for beach clubs /sun loungers etc., considering that there are no beaches the prices should be more competitive . A family of 4 can easily spend £60 to access facilities. Also Kalkan is mainly visited by British thus meaning that some of more authentic Turkish atmosphere can get lost. Moreover it is disappointing to see prices in £ - why do tourists from others part of the world need to pay in £ ?

    lovely seaside port town now wholly given over to tourists (mainly a mix of Turkish and British). the sea in this area is truly beautiful, very clear and full of marine life. plenty of restaurants in town to eat in at night. lots of trips that can be done from there for the day. we very much enjoyed Kekova (Define Tours) where my kids swam with the turtles that live in that part of the region. Only issue is Turkey has got a lot more expensive, no longer cheaper than the Med in Europe.

    Kalkan was so lovely.

    Kalkan was so lovely. We went on a very relaxing boat trip and visited Zest Beach Club which was fab. There were many steps and hill walks which were manageable but may be not for those with mobility challenges. The weather was perfect and we had many lovely dinners as there are lots of great restaurants.

    Lots of good restaurants - roof top in particular. Good choice of food - often served with an amuse bouche and a coffee. Not sure if they extend to that in high season? Shops good - in particular 'designer' handbag shops. Good quality and prices. Harbour area attractive. Thursday market excellent for a range of products including T shirts etc. Safe and friendly.

    A calming and friendly place with wonderful people. The beach is a bit rocky and no shaded areas so can be hot... the market is brilliant if you are after a bargain. If you are an adult and older with most of your clubbing days behind you, this is the right place to visit.

    Hotel was really lovely, especially the pool, dining and bar area. It was in a lovely location, about 20 mins walk from Kalkan city center - perfect, as you were close to the hustle and bustle without being directly in it. There were also loads of restaurants surrounding the hotel, so you didn't have to travel far for food. The staff were also really lovely and made us feel very welcome. In addition, we used the spa facilities, which exceeded our expectations. Well worth the money!

    Amazing hotel in a great location. Our room was very big, modern and perfectly clean. The breakfast was very good with so many choices, very fresh and healthy options as well. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sub lounger. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The hotel is by a busy road but we didn’t find it too loud at all. Kalkan in general is quite a busy little town and the hotel is located very well.

    Ali, wife and kids were amazing lovely people - Lizo Hotel and Kalkan are a must! We will definately be returning to Lizo - great people, great food/service, really helpful and so accomodating. It was our first time in Kalkan and we loved it! They made us feel right at home and everything is personal which was perfect! Location is amazing 15 minute walk or cheap 3 minute taxi to town centre.
