Nice town with a lot of history. Good shopping area with lower prices that you may find in a tourist cities like Antalya or Bodrum. A nice city, especially for a trip break. There is an army museum which is worth visiting. A little expensive but will worth. Restaurants, caffes, bars and ice-cream all are great. We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. It's a great place for dinner and an evening stroll. We only walked along water front so I'm not able to comment on the rest of the city.Guest review byNormaUnited States

He was very helpful in so many ways - no request was too much - he helped arrange a driver to take me to one of the nearby WW1 war graves, and he also helped to return a pair of expensive trainers to our hotel in Istanbul. What a kind man. The hotel is very convenient for the local ferry service which connects to Canakkale, and Eceabat is a short taxi drive for Gallipoli tours, restaurants etc. Rooms were very comfortable.
