Nice town with a lot of history. Good shopping area with lower prices that you may find in a tourist cities like Antalya or Bodrum. A nice city, especially for a trip break. There is an army museum which is worth visiting. A little expensive but will worth. Restaurants, caffes, bars and ice-cream all are great. We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. The owner - a former captain - maintains an impeccable property to the highest standards. Also, he is a very interesting person to talk to. On the third floor there is a common space, ideal for the ship-spotting in the Dardanelles (especially at night), there is even a huge binocular for that. The breakfast could not be better.
