This is an exquisitely decorated, beautful place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is in a quiet area away from the old city which is always incredibly busy and noisy. The pool was beautuful as was the garden. La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.Guest review byTracey NUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. The apartment we stayed at was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for longer stays. The outdoor sitting area/garden was lovely and the owners were friendly and allowed a very late check-in, which was much appreciated. The location is ideal right in the heart of La Marsa, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Despite being so central, the apartment is calm and relaxing.
