Great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, restaurant is great, food was very good and drinks too for a good price, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! The area they have on the beach had plenty of day beds for all the guests to relax.

We loved everything thing about this place. I think the best location on koh chang. Surrounded by restaurants and bars, but not to busy. We booked 2 nights extra and Oliver is a really nice and helpful host! Motorbike is just 150b a day. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you so much!

I loved the puppy that invited you he is the cutest dog ever!! The place is great, clean and has all the facilities you need for island life. Nice and quiet. The hammock was a plus. Good location as well, enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to shops/restaurants. Owners are lovely as well.

First of all: highly recommended! We can’t wait to return. For your information, the place is in the southern part of the island, but easily accessible by van. There’s a beautiful, clean beach just a 5-minute walk away. Best of all, the hosts quickly feel like friends—you’ll enjoy spending time with them! This beautiful small boutique resort couldn’t have been more perfect. The room and the outside facilities are amazing and so comfortable, but it is truly the people who work so hard to make our stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they made us feel so welcome. Keir and Eddie arranged for us trip to nearby islands too. Which was fantastic! It is peaceful and away from all the noise on busy party of Koh Chang. We enjoyed walks in nearby mangroo forest, we took a kanoe straight from the resort into nearby fishing village. And the food is amazing too, haven't had that good of Thai in awhile.

The experience at Vayna was beyond our expectations! First and foremost, the staff were all extremely attentive, serviceminded and really nice. The rooms were very fresh and spacious in lovley modern with authentic thai design. The pool was perfect and always clean, 5 meters away from the ocean with a great beach filled with cozy restaurants for the ultimate thai expierence regardless of lunch or dinner. Vaynas breakfast was really good and so was the drinks by the bamboo bar when watching the sunset. Usually we rent a scooter to explore but in our 4 night stay at Vayna we didn’t feel the need for that due to the activities they arranged and the overall great time we had on the resort and the beach. We really recommend staying here if you travel to Koh Chang.

    Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday.

    Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! Some wonderful seafood buffets to uncover and a visit to one of the elephant camps will satisfy your urge to explore.

    A nice tropical island with white sand beaches, beautifull mountains, waterfalls and rainforests. Very civilized - plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all kinds of foods and wallet thicknesses. You need to designate the season when to visit: I prefer rainy, or, as locals say "green", with rains every day but quiet and lush nature and no crowds to visit the paradice island.

    Probably what most of Thailand was like 25 years ago - limited beach front developments and no ugly high rise. Plenty of local places close to the hotel to go out to and eat. Not too busy at time of visit as coming into the low season. I would think that the queues to the ferry to get to-from the island must be pretty long during the high season which would be something to be aware of especially if flying out of Bangkok

    Love the island!

    Love the island! It reminds me of some the better parts of beachfront Mexico in the past. The Klong Plu Waterfall was also definitely a highlight, especially for a cooler dip when the ocean water is arguably "too warm".

    Napalai cooking school was hands down the best thing we did here! Bunny was amazing! The rest of our stay was brilliant also, depending where you stay and how confident you are on a scooter, could spend a week exploring the island

    Easy to get to from Bangkok via air or hire car with an excellent blend of nightlife and nature>>We checked out several hotels and all were up to speed on customer service and easy beach access. We travelled as a family of 4 adults and one child. The restaurants were top shelf with several sunset clubs offering DJ's and cocktails. The nature is accessible and taxi's can transport you to the best spots. Phone connectivity is great with 5G in all of the areas we visited. The Elephant park was fun, our grandson enjoyed feeding them though best to book ahead..

    perfect location, stayed with family: 2 kids. Initially wanted to stay 5 nights and to get move to another location in Ko Chang, but then drove around and realised the resort is at the best spot of the island. The beach was perfect, very clean water, the restaurants and massage places within 5 minutes walk, we did not need to rely on the scooter. Also if you absolutely lazy and can't walk 5 minutes hotel staff could give you a lift in buggy to the restaurants main street.

    We all agreed (two couples) that this was our favorite of the six hotels we stayed in, during our three week stay in Thailand. The Seaview villas with pool were well designed and very comfortable. The private pool was surprisingly large, with comfortable loungers and bean bag style cushions, to watch the stunning sunsets. The breakfasts were great, imaginative and generously sized, and the staff were always smiling and helpful.
