Idre was the perfect location for an overnight stop on our way from the north of Sweden to the south of Norway. We enjoyed a short stay at this hotel nine years ago and were delighted to see how it has developed since then. The location with the view over the valley is excellent. This time we had a fantastic dinner in the hotel restaurant. Food and service were great. About 25 years ago I stayed in a hotel in Sierra Nevada, Granada, Spain, during test trips with SAAB, and in this hotel there were several pictures of Pernilla Wiberg and her skiing career. This hotel very much carries the same ambience in its interior design of social spaces, and I really wonder if that can be a coincidence?

Great stay at this lodge! Family of 9 and more than enough space to all be together comfortably. Easy check in and out with key code 🙌🏻 Great location, right on ski slope- you can ski to the door, with 4 children that was perfect! Great ski-ing for beginners and some more challenging ski-ing if you want it. Quick responses from host! Our family will be coming back.
