Stayed for one night before departure, good apartments, everything you need, free transfer to airport. One of the family members needed medical care, Laura, the owner's daughter is a doctor and accompanied us to the hospital, helped us get help, for which we are very grateful to her, she spent more than three hours with us on her day off. THANK YOU

What a lovely spacious, clean property Jill has. A balcony to chill on as part of our room too. Literally 2 minutes from airport. Be warned, do not try to walk it with suitcases like we did. Up hill all the way. Jill and her daughter were really helpful and very nice people. Jill even gave us a ride to the airport for our early flight. We would recommended touchdown villa to anyone.

Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was great. The biggest upside of this stay was the location as it was 20 minutes on foot from the airport which was perfect for our last day.

Very nice view of the bay from the mountains. Lots of birds singing. It was a very spacious room with two bathrooms. It included everything that was needed, including a kitchen. It was very good quality. The owners are amiable and helpful. They gave us advice on tours of the Seychelles. During our stay, we had a wedding, and they complimented the bride with the campaign. Also, our room was decorated beautifully for our wedding night.

Botique is one word to describe this property. We stayed for 5 nights and each one was well worth the stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and receptive ( a special thank you to Kenny at Reception and Themba at the bar who made our stay extra special). We were celebrating a special occasion and the hotel went over and above helping us celebrate it. It’s just across the road from a beach which has seating reserved for guests, although sometimes may be occupied by people not staying at the hotel so that may have to be looked at. The food was good with decent variety at the breakfast buffet. Food menus at the bar and restaurant were incredible. Overall we had a good stay and I would definitely recommend and would definitely visit Laïla in future.

From the hotel balconies, you can enjoy both lush tropical greenery and the sea – the higher your room, the better the view. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with some variation each morning. Even picky eaters will find something satisfying. For lunch, the hotel offers a range of meals at reasonable prices – from burgers and crispy chicken to salads and pizza. Both food and cocktails are around half the price compared to a nearby 5-star hotel. The restaurant and pool area also offer breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding nature. Dinner is served buffet-style, with a different theme each evening (such as Asian, BBQ, or Creole cuisine). Just a short walk away, you’ll find a beautiful white-sand beach that's almost deserted – you're likely to see only a few other visitors there.

    Marie-Aline, the owner of MARL Self Catering was very helpful and kind. She drove me to the supermarket and Eden Island for free. The apartment was very clean, well decorated and equipped as well as spacious. The location is very quiet, the planes do not make any disturbance. Very close to a bus stop going to Mahé and also a nice little beach only 5 minutes by bus. I highly recommend MARL.
