The property is absolutely exceptional. I travel very frequently and across the globe and I must say I have never stayed in a hotel so well thought out, so modern, so comfortable and convenient to the point that images do not even do it justice. This is an absolute gem in the heart of Riyadh. I do not have enough words of praise for this hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travellers out there. It is modern, cozy, brand new, elegant.

I liked everything about it: the central but quiet location; the spacious and bright room; the rich and varied breakfast; the two restaurants, the self-service one on the ground floor and the à la carte one on the 13th floor, the latter with a spectacular view; but above all, the kindness, courtesy, helpfulness and welcome of all the staff. I'm afraid I can't remember all the staff one by one, but I'd like to give special thanks to the blonde lady at breakfast, the Lebanese gentleman in the restaurant service, the red-haired gentleman in the lobby, the gentleman who helped me with a problem with a tour booking, but especially all the staff and waiters on the floors and in all the service areas. You have made me feel at home, thank you!

The Capital of Old and New

The Saudi Arabian capital, sprawling Riyadh is a mix of historic monuments and ultra-modern skyscrapers. On a plateau surrounded by desert, it is one of the Middle East’s richest cities, so there are several 5-star hotels in Riyadh.

This wealth is also evident in modern architecture, particularly the Kingdom Centre, a perfectly sculpted building looking strangely like a bottle opener. Lit at night, it has an observation deck offering fantastic city views.

On its bottom floor is a shopping mall, and there is another within Al Faisaliyah, the country’s 1st skyscraper. Riyadh is a shopping paradise and yet more malls are on wide, palm-lined King Fahd Road. This king also gave his name to King Fahd Stadium, home of the Saudi football team.

Unusually for a capital, King Khalid International Airport is right in the city centre and there are lots of Riyadh hotels near the airport on Booking.com. South, in Al Murabba, is the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre, site of the Saudi Arabia National Museum. Further south in Dirah is 19th-century Al-Masmak fort with souks and mosques nearby.

Wherever you stay, remember that Saudi Arabia is a deeply Islamic country and that local customs should be respected. Men and women may not be able to access attractions at the same time.

The city is well-organized, with convenient transport and plenty of shopping and dining options. I found the people to be welcoming and helpful, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable.     The city is amazing, and modern.

    The city is amazing, and modern. I thought that there would be more traffic, but my rides were smooth. I went in the summer it was kinda hot in the noon and the afternoon, but the weather at night hit in the right spot. There are services everywhere, and people there are open-minded. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMNEND.

    Amazing arabic culture heritages in a middle of dessert with modern infra in city of Riyadh. Local people are friendly and barely speak English. You can find all shops and restaurants in town. Clearly the KSA is openning up and reforming quickly.

    What to do in the concrete jungle in the heat other than visit malls and restaurants. there is Diriyah which is nice Bujairi terrace but you have a minimum entrance fee of SAR50/person just to enter - can be redeemed in any restaurants. In winter it would be better as more options to at least sit outside!

    Amazing architecture. The buildings look like piece of art. The beauty of this city is magical. Too many choices for good restaurants, shops and other amazing places to visit. People are very friendly and helpful. Tickets for Al Nassr football match are affordable.

    We loved everything during our stay. The apartment is located in a quiet street, and has probably the best position in Riyadh: close to the airport, to the city center, to Dirʿiyya, and to lots of cafes and restaurants. The house itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy! We want also to thank again the host who waited us till 3am, and was always incredibly hospitable and welcoming, always offering help and making sure we were having a comfortable stay. We can't wait to be back in Riyadh and at your apartment!

    The hotel was very careful with the details, the design of the room and the bathroom is great, the staff and their service is outstanding and the breakfast was wholesome and delicious, there was plenty of parking spots outside and at the basement and even next door, the location of the hotel is on the edge of Riyadh but its proximity to the airport is very comforting, the door locking system is modern, its a touch pad that has a bell and puts an icon for dnd or makeup my room.

    This was a greta location for visiting Riyadh Exhibition Center, just a short walk away. Breakfast was good with omelettes, fried and scrambled eggs made fresh. The return to the airport was excellent with the hotel at a good price.
