Sinaia is a charming city, worth for a medium long stay.
Sinaia is a charming city, worth for a medium long stay. It offers history, culture, as well as great culinary experiences. Make sure you include a visit to Peles Castle. If you like hiking, walk to Poiana Stanii and have a picnic there. Take the cable car and go up, where you can admire the breathtaking landscape that lays at your feet. On the main street, in the center you will find a very small bakery offering the best langos (cheese pie) in town.Guest review byCristina - 8.0

From the bottom to the Peles is our preferred walk in Sinaia as well as the park, the one is yet clean. All small roads around Sinaia to the hill are crowded with cars parked, a solution not appropriate for some people traveling with cars. From my opinion Sinaia is at high level of interest for tourists, with wonderful landscape and architecture, including Peles castle. The purpose of my vacation was to ski. For March, it is an ideal place. The Sinaia ski area includes about 25 ski slopes, which total over 25 km of slopes. In March, the slopes on the plateau are functional, totaling about 15 km of slopes. For dining, I recommend the following restaurants: La Roq, the restaurant of the Sinaia Hotel, the Imperfect restaurant, located in the Sinaia Gondola complex (departure), Taverna Sarbului, Tirol Restaurant, inside the International Hotel, Riegler Restaurant.Guest review byVictor MatacheRomania - 10.0

Sinaia is a beautiful resort town, although it can get extremely crowded during peak season. It’s definitely worth visiting, especially during the warmer months, as there are many lovely attractions such as Peleș Castle and Sinaia Monastery. Even the town center and park are charming spots to spend a relaxing day, especially with children. However, the ski area is quite disappointing, from the cable transport system to the condition of the slopes and other facilities. In conclusion, I would recommend visiting Sinaia in the warmer months rather than winter, and certainly not for winter sports.Guest review byOanaRomania
