Very nice city, surrounded by hills and great nature, wonderful weather - not too hot in the summer, snowy in the winter. Has few historical places and museums, nice coffee and cakes' houses, nice shopping places. Lovely town, surrounded by hills.
Lovely town, surrounded by hills. See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). Beautiful historic center.
Beautiful historic center. Architecture restored from the time of Stephen the Great. Everything you need within walking distance. Roses and honeysuckle made it a pleasurable walk all over town. Key code entry meant an evening check-in, and early departure weren't a problem, and this was a great alternative to accommodation in nearby Piatra Neamt which appeared to be full. The 2 bed penthouse was very clean, good shower, very comfortable beds; they even supplied coffee and water (small fridge included in each room). Easy reach in all areas of Piatra Neamt, even if you'll stay in the town for pleasure or business. This particular flat has a large terrace.
