Lisbon is beautiful. And I planned just perfect to explore all. The best places were Sintra, Cabo Da Roca, Jeronimous Monastery, Belem Tower, Arco da Rua Augusta, Peniche, Berlenga, Obidos, Alfama. That's all I visited in 5 days. The food was cheap and good. I loved people's fascination towards fish. Public transport was very smooth. There is a lot to see, do and learn in Lisbon. It is very enjoyable and fun. However, be prepared that it is not very clean with some very sketchy people throughout. It is easy to suddenly find yourself in some undesirable locations. While Portugual is very lovely and has a very solid tourist industry, I was very cognizant that I had to constantly be vigilant of my surroundings in Lisbon.Guest review byAlexia - 8.0

Lisbon is a great city. Would highly recommend the ‘free walking tour’ (at the end give what you consider it is worth) very informative guide. Guide gave recommendations for restaurants, which were family run & not tourist prices. I would recommend to go on a boat trip, otherwise we would have missed landmark buildings & structures . Beautiful views from castle. Care & caution required on all footpaths as the cobblestones are undulating and often loose. I stayed in Lisbon for three days which worked out to be the perfect amount of time, allowing time to relax between activities. It is a lovely city full of character and lots of trendy cafes, bars and restaurants. The nearby Sintra region eas gorgeous with its Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle.
