There are dramatic mountain views from the room and the terrace. The staff is kind and helpful and the beds are comfortable. Hot water is also available (check with the staff for the timing). The road leading up to the property is essentially a desert-road, with the local driver though, it wouldn't be a problem to reach it. It's worth staying here.

This hotel is a gem! The location was perfect, The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff were all very friendly and professional, and they went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

    Skardu was really really outstanding traveling and trip...

    Skardu was really really outstanding traveling and trip place we had never seen before. It was just like the heaven on the Earth. We wished we could stay there for some more time, but unfortunately we had a limited time trip so we could not visited some of its most beautiful places. Inshallah we make another trip plan towards Skardu and trends to explore it. We hopefully recommend this place to Other, come and explore the beautiful of skardu.

    Skardu was an unforgettable escape into nature's beauty. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear rivers, and peaceful valleys, every moment felt magical. The local hospitality was heartwarming, and there were plenty of activities—from hiking and boating to exploring historic forts. A perfect destination for anyone seeking adventure, serenity, and breathtaking landscapes. Can’t wait to go back!

    Skardu is truly a breathtaking destination—surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal-clear lakes, it’s a paradise for nature lovers. Our favorite spots were Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and Shigar Fort, each offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed dining at local spots like Cafe de North and a few roadside dhabas that served delicious traditional Balti food. Getting around Skardu was relatively easy with local drivers and jeeps available, though road conditions can vary, so plan ahead. For groups of friends, Skardu offers amazing activities like boating at Kachura Lake, hiking to Manthoka Waterfall, and exploring ancient forts. The best part of our trip was the peaceful mountain vibe and the warmth of the local people. However, network signals and internet can be patchy, and it’s best to carry cash as many places don’t accept cards. Tip: Pack warm clothes even in summer, and book a local guide to get the most out of your experience!

    Skardu is the most amazing place with amazing people and great hospitality. If you take the flight, it is very comfortable even with small kids. Definitely going to visit there every year from now onwards. Skardu and Hunza are my favourite places on earth :)
