A surf lodge hosted by a long time established surf shop in Siargao - you know you're going to have the best time. Has everything you need. Clean, spacious, beautiful surroundings, nestled inside a very quiet local neighbourhood away from the main road. The BEST thing about Fat Lips are the team that runs the place. Tim, the owner, is super knowledgeable and accommodating, and always out there surfing with me. Always good to yarn about anything and readily takes on any requirements or suggestions. Buboy, the lodge manager, welcomed me into the lodge and it was just amazing to be able to chat so freely and immediately he wanted to take me out surfing. We went on many surf sessions together, essentially being my guide! The team really made my trip amazing, I can't wait to come back! Stay here if you're in Siargao.

Everything perfect! Large room. Very friendly hosts. Value for money is fantastic. We were able to rent the scooter directly at the property. Island hopping could be booked directly at the hotel. Laundry service is also provided by the property. Breakfast very tasty. By far the best accommodation we have booked in the Philippines. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect ! Garden and pool are so beautiful ! Room is clean and comfortable. The team is really nice and helpfull. They organized for us airport transferts. The resort is perfectly located, in the center of general luna but the place is quiet. We highly recommand. Thank you

Great location and cosy rooms! The room was very clean and really close to the center of General Luna, which makes easy to walk for restaurants and bars in the evening. Erwen, and Ina, who managed the property were very helpful and arranged all the activities and tours for us. They also provided a lot of recommendations on how to spend our days in the island! Thanks guys! We’ll definitely come back when we visit again Siargao 😊

We had a great stay in Big Waves. So close to everything and room was nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful , particularly Joanna who helped us with recommendations and organised a scooter & airport transfer for us. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in Siargao

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised...

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised to see how much trash and dirty areas were in the area. We were told to visit Cloud 9 and its nice for surfing, but dirty area, dirty restaurants, and very dirty streets. I would not return for the beaches or areas, but would for the surfing.

    The vibe is just right, it's laid back and touristy at the same time. There a lot of food choices and transportation options in going around the island. But the accommodations are a pricey (compared to Boracay).

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights.

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights. It was enough if you just want to explore the nearby spots, and go island hopping. But if you plan to really do a good long staycation, 4 days is not enough. There is still a lot we were not able to do. We both love the vibe of General Luna and Siargao as a whole. We love the island vibe and wish that it should remain as is, untouched by too much modernity.

    Well first impressions is the town is very spread out and...

    Well first impressions is the town is very spread out and hot so riding a motorbike/scooter is essential to really enjoy this place. It has a very fun vibrant night life with hundreds of young travellers, great food options, live music everywhere. The surf wasn't great during our stay due to easterly winds daily but fun just to muck about in.

    Very spacious room, modern and very clean. The staff was amazing and always quick to answer any questions via whatsapp. Security guard during the night. Good breakfast. The hotel is gorgeous, and even more at night with the lights! Pool area is beautiful. Very quiet, 10min motorbike ride to general luna (location could be a bit inconvenient if you don’t ride a motorbike though?)

    Such a calm place by a beautiful beach. Staff is amazing and we loved the sweet dogs living around the place. Location is perfect in Malinao village and you only have a 10 minute scooter ride to General Luna. There is an okay restaurant right next to the hotel if you dont want to cook but stay close to the hotel.

    Close to General Luna, but not in the centre so quieter, which is nice. Enclosed undercover motorcycle parking. Nice upstairs kitchen and dining space. Very good sized room and bathroom for the money, I don’t think you can beat this from a value perspective.
