Amazing and clean room with eye for details; great quality towels, daily room cleaning, some free snacks and drinks, bathrobes, screen door for insects, good bed, good airconditioning and wifi, good shower,.. In the center of General Luna but not noisy at all Pool gets cleaned every day Not too much staff and all my requests were met <3

A surf lodge hosted by a long time established surf shop in Siargao - you know you're going to have the best time. Has everything you need. Clean, spacious, beautiful surroundings, nestled inside a very quiet local neighbourhood away from the main road. The BEST thing about Fat Lips are the team that runs the place. Tim, the owner, is super knowledgeable and accommodating, and always out there surfing with me. Always good to yarn about anything and readily takes on any requirements or suggestions. Buboy, the lodge manager, welcomed me into the lodge and it was just amazing to be able to chat so freely and immediately he wanted to take me out surfing. We went on many surf sessions together, essentially being my guide! The team really made my trip amazing, I can't wait to come back! Stay here if you're in Siargao.

Mitch and Reese were the best hosts! We cannot say enough good things about them. They're super professional and handled all of our requests, bookings, transport, questions, recommendations etc with ease! You can tell they take your stay seriously. The dogs George and Coco are soo sweet. The rooms were large with great A/C and spotless! Great water pressure. Awesome wifi. Really good coffee in the morning. Location is a short moto ride from GL proper so nice and quiet. New Motos for rent. Loved it! Would definitely go back.

The location was great, and the place exceeded me and my family’s expectations (booked two rooms)! Beautiful and serene (and green!), behind the hustle and bustle of General Luna. Close to restaurants and bars, and easy to call a tricycle once you step out on the main road. The staff at Palaka Staff were so friendly, they really made us feel at home. We booked surf lessons and the Manager kindly arranged a late check-out for us so that we can fully experience our last day on the island! I will definitely recommend :) thank you for a lovely stay!!

The place is amazing. You have at the beachfront villas an amazing view. But as well the other villas and rooms are nice due to the amazing green garden. You can easy relax in the resort with the nice pool and later in the ocean. Great breakfast. Authentic and nice presented. The staff is very friendly. We had a jolly good time with a group of friends. Next time I want to try the massage at the beach.

Big waves is a lovely little boutique hotel, with friendly staff, nice design and thoughtful little touches it's a very comfortable place to stay. We loved the location super near the centre of town and a short walk from the tourist strip but slightly removed so it's quieter and feels more like a local area. Highly recommend!

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised...

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised to see how much trash and dirty areas were in the area. We were told to visit Cloud 9 and its nice for surfing, but dirty area, dirty restaurants, and very dirty streets. I would not return for the beaches or areas, but would for the surfing.

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights.

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights. It was enough if you just want to explore the nearby spots, and go island hopping. But if you plan to really do a good long staycation, 4 days is not enough. There is still a lot we were not able to do. We both love the vibe of General Luna and Siargao as a whole. We love the island vibe and wish that it should remain as is, untouched by too much modernity.

    Well first impressions is the town is very spread out and hot so riding a motorbike/scooter is essential to really enjoy this place. It has a very fun vibrant night life with hundreds of young travellers, great food options, live music everywhere. The surf wasn't great during our stay due to easterly winds daily but fun just to muck about in.

    Such a nice bungalow. The hosts were so polite and helpful. Gave us very good tips for the island. The room itself was very nicely equipped, especially for emergency power cuts (like ventilators, lamps etc.). The staff was very polite and maintains the rooms and garden to the smallest details. There is a shared kitchen area with complimentary water. The location is not in general luna, but very easily reachable by scooter in less than 8 min (the drive to there is also amazing having palm trees and raw nature around).

    Nice place and well look after. Very diferent from what you find in Genral Luna. Near by bike to go to General Luna. Fantastic Indian restaurant on top of the hostel. Very relaxing grounds and good swimming pool. They even have a cinema room. Good facilities to cook your own food. Fantastic place, I would come back and recommend 100%
