My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)

Pension Tupuna was set in a incredible rustic jungle like setting. The bungalows were so beautiful and characteristic of a traditional stay. The breakfast of fruit and toast was simple but delicious and filling. The variety of fruit was impressive.

The very professional and warm welcome from Virginie. She took time to explain not only the accommodation but also how to explore the island. Her guidebook allowed us exciting discoveries.
