It is easy to drive around the island, the roads are perfect. The NW corner of Moorea has some of the most beautiful water...
The NW corner of Moorea has some of the most beautiful water, is close to most excursions, and has one of the bigger shopping/restaurant areas. If there was a drawback, the forever knee deep shallow water is great for little kids, but not the best for snorkeling for adults, unless you cross over to the shark/ray area or the smaller islands by boat/kayak. Everything and everyone is happy on Mo’orea! It is easy to get there by ferry, but we should have gotten a car-the taxi is expensive (everywhere here in FP) and all the locals say the bus is unreliable-but as long as you don’t need to commute anywhere, it is a beautiful, beautiful place to relax and unwind!Guest review byW.K.United States
