The desert camp is perfectly located into the desert in high dunes! It is a great place to enjoy sunset and sunrise just sitting on a dune and being fascinated! Camp manager Saeed gave us a fantastic adventurous tour through the desert. Also dinner and breakfast was excellent. Thank you Saeed for your guest friendless and the fantastic time you shared with us!

Many thanks to everyone as you made our experience in desert very unforgettable! Here it was the best Omani coffee which we've ever had during our trip! Camp is very nice. Tents are big enough, very clean, each has its own clean (!) toilet and hot shower. Nice common shelter. We arrived after sunset, left our car near the petrol station as suggested by camp and camp's driver brought us to camp. They offer this service if you are not ready to drive in sands. Communication was very effective. Me and my friend, 2 girls, were only guests in the camp for that night but we were welcomed very good. We had very good and delicious dinner as well as breakfast in the morning. We were welcomed very warm and feel ourselves safe. All the team were very kind! Don't bring any food with you as desert mice would disturb you all the night. Next morning we met sunrise on the top of closest dune (just walked by ourselves), had amazing breakfast and took 3hrs tour in desert. It was nice drive through dunes, visited nomad house, saw a lot of camels. There is WIFI in the camp but it also can be considered as drawback :)

The location was perfect as we couldn’t see anything in a distance. Despite being a tent, the facilities were like and just like a hotel room with a bed, coffee machine, bathroom and shower. Outside there was a swing and several places to lounge or have meals. The owner took us dune bashing which was so much fun !

What can we say but “wow”. Staying in the desert with Salin and Alam looking after us was the best way to experience the Wahiba Sands. It was a perfect and authentic experience. Being greeted by the kids and Salin upon our arrival, the sunset camel ride, the outdoor sleeping platform and just the location, all exceeded our expectation. Alam’s food was great and we felt spoiled by him. He was amazing. They cared for our welfare and enjoyment. I would recommend staying here without any hesitation.

The camp was amazing! We stayed in the chalet and it was so nice. The rooms are clean, cozy, very nicely decorated. Every chalet has a little terrace in front, it was so nice to hangout there in the mornings and evenings. The food in the camp was very good, both breakfast and dinner with a lot of choices and much more than we expected for the desert. In the evening you can watch a film in the open air cinema and eat popcorns. It was such a nice experience. The sand dunes are just behind the camp, you can climb there and enjoy the view, especially the sunset. We didn’t take any sand dune tour with the 4x4 vehicles as most of the tours from other camps end up just above this one, so no need to pay for that when you can simply climb up. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed every minute there and we would definitely recommend this camp!!

A really nice resort in the desert. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The pool is great for refreshing dip. We drove there ourselves, it is not hard to find or drive through the desert, the only thing is you have to know how much to deflate the tires. It is useful to have a portable air compressor.

    Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.

    Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !
