The guesthouse felt so homely. 😁 The decor was unique and it was like stepping back in time! Gorgeous delph and we loved sipping tea in the bay window! The bed was so comfortable. We only wished we could of stayed longer. Gill was so lovely and flexible with check in 🙂

Beautiful surroundings we felt completely immersed in the New Zealand native bush, you can tell the property is well taken care of by the hosts, which as a kiwi i really appreciate. Loved listening to the native birds in the morning and the rustle of the trees in the wind, and looking up at the stars from our private spa, a completely relaxing experience.

Owaka Lodge was a great overnight stop, in a small hamlet. It was clean, plenty of hot water. Gaynor is an excellent hostess, very chatty and the buns were a bonus
