We were met by a wonderful host, who made us feel very welcome and showed us to our apartment, even had a complimentry beverage for us to enjoy. The apartment was laid out beautifully and had everything we needed, it was clean and beds were really comfortable, it was private and looked out onto lovely kept gardens. Location was excellent and close to everything we needed, with lots to do nearby. Highly recommend this property.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price. Beds were big and comfy. Kids were able to swim in pool and spa was hot. Just a walk away to town center. Theres a movie theater. We always stay here when we come to Kerikeri.

    Loved the beautiful hanging baskets in the town. The honey cafe was beautiful surrounded by flowers. The whole place was picturesque. The Thai place called Green's was a great place for dinner.

    would have loved to explore the area more. Makana chocolate shop worth a visit alone, but also the markets were great on saturday morning. Seemed a pleasant place, the weather was mild, going back to have another look at some point

    Clean, interesting and loved the shops, cafes and THE BLACK OLIVE restaurant. Friendly people and beautifully maintained town. Excellent walking paths. The 8 km walk from stone cottage to rainbow waterfall was fabulous followed by iced coffee at honey bee cafe.. sensational.

    Loved staying here. Perfect spot for some well needed R&R, lovely view, swimming in the beautiful bay and not far from many other beautiful beaches to explore also a few minutes drive to Kerikeri township. Alan is a very helpful generous host. From the beautiful dalias & spotless room & bathroom to the amenities was all very appreciated. Lovely hearing kiwis at night. Highly recommend & will be my pick for next visit sometime in future. Thankyou both for a wonderful stay.

    Lovely location, mature citrus and avocado trees around. the unit had all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. Covered deck with chairs and table ideal to sit outside. Great position short drive (or medium walk) from town, and from Kerikeri markets in the opposite direction. Parking directly outside the unit was a bonus. Super quiet even though off the main road. Responsive to questions/requests.

    This was a real treat to find and stay. Gorgeous we hone away from home. Aircon worked amazingly during the hot evenings. Fabulous shower. Comfy bed and bedding. I truly did enjoy all the tui's and tiny bunny rabbits out on the front steps each day. I loved how quiet it was and so close (7 minute drive) to KeriKeri town.

    Had a beautiful weekend spent at the Avalon Resort. I recommend this beautiful tranquil private spot to anyone looking to stay. My kids enjoyed the space to play, the ponds and of course the pool and spa. Thanks heaps Mike, we had a fish at Opito bay and on the wharves and my kids enjoyed themselves. Awesome spot

    We had a lovely stay and very happy with accommodation. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed which is always appreciated. Nice and handy to town and supermarket. With local walks close by. Couldnt fault and would stay again if we return to Kerikeri.
